New business and Marketing Manager
Location: Central Bristol – harbourside (Hybrid working)
Salary: £35k – £40k, dependent on experience – plus annual bonus.
Start Date: ASAP
We’re looking for a super-talented new business and marketing specialist to join our growing team in Bristol.
This valuable role will help us to raise our agency profile and attract, engage and convert new clients through a consultative new business approach with the right type of clients.
Whilst we’ve had an existing new plan that has been working well, you’ll no doubt bring your own ideas and develop a process and a plan to hit our new business target, and also bring your own ways of doing things, such as automation tools.
You’ll also be working with an experienced, senior team who will be supporting you to grow and develop in this role.
You’ll be a keen and talented new business and marketing specialist – brilliant at spotting opportunities and at building relationships to convert prospects (ideally with some experience in FMCG).
With a winning attitude and a great understanding of how new business really works, you’ll be able to take our agency capabilities and many solid case studies to the market, driving interest and dialogue with our target brands. We have a strong new business conversion rate, what we need is more meaningful, qualified conversations with potential clients that fit well with our agency offering.

New business development
- Leading the marketing agency new business function
- Creating Targeted campaigns
- Qualifying leads for fit and suitability
- Initial credentials calls/meetings
- Support with pitches, proposals and tenders
- Managing our prospects database and pipeline
- Managing follow ups & keep warm
- Sharing latest news and case studies
- Following FMCG brands and industry press
- Identifying and acting on new leads from Industry insights
- Publishing and growing social – focus on LinkedIn
- Looking after website content
