Hot on the heels of our recent launch of a multi-platform digital campaign for McCoy’s crisps, here’s another we’re equally delighted about…
As a core digital element of Currys PC World Christmas campaign and ‘Win your wish list’ promotion, we have created a beautifully festive, interactive multi-platform campaign site, with consumers being able to take part in the campaign via desktop or mobile devices.
Activated online, in-store and offline, and using QR codes…
…and integrating with the overall campaign theme and look and feel, consumers can use the site to create a wish list – from iPads, to TVs, to headphones, all the top gadgets they could wish for this Christmas. After creating a list, the consumer can enter the prize draw to win their list worth up to £5,000 every week, plus £500 gift vouchers every day.
Build specifically for desktop and mobile devices
A technical milestone in itself, the site is designed specifically to deliver a rich, interactive (and touch screen) experience seamlessly across mobile devices or desktop browsers.
Sharing driven via Facebook and email
Consumers can share their wish list with their friends, using Facebook, Twitter and Google+, or email their list to their friends (using in-built sharing functionality) for an extra entry into the draw.
On entry to the draw, our Activation platform checks entries are valid and in line with the promotion terms and conditions, whilst an authorised third party is used to carry out prize draw verification and selection.
The campaign runs from 18 October to 23 December 2012, and is promoted across Currys & PC World advertising, digital and in-store activities – the Win Your Wish List promotion was developed by Wax Communications.
