Given the many challenges presented by the coronavirus situation, from distribution to changes in shopping habits, the team at Deliciously Ella were very keen to offer a direct-to-consumer proposition so that consumers could easily find and purchase their favourite Deliciously Ella products.
We developed a new website for Deliciously Ella last year, with any sales being handled via retail stockists or Amazon. This has now been enhanced with full e-commerce capability (via WooCommerce) to handle the direct-to-consumer sales, alongside existing retail stockists and Amazon. The delivery of the shop function was delivered in a matter of weeks from start to finish, and we plan to enhance the shop and the shopping experience over time.
