A summer of activity & event amplification
We created & managed a social campaign to amplify the brand’s sponsorship of The Color Run events, outdoor ATL and experiential activity across digital and social channels. We have set up an out of home, socially-led promotion using a hashtag #JustRefresh, where consumers can tweet/share for a chance to win weekly spot prizes – fitting with the brand strategy of adding colour to their everyday life.
Twitter & Instagram
The hashtag #JustRefresh galvanised all of the brand’s activity across Instagram and Twitter and amplify PR, experiential and sampling activities by appearing across communications, event materials and our social content. So, not only does #JustRefresh appear on the branding at the events itself, but we’ve worked closely with the experiential and PR teams to ensure it’s also on the sampling cups used across the country and in leaflets being handed out containing coupons.
Our social team, who manage social for Ocean Spray, tracked mentions of this hashtag throughout the summer and each week, spot-rewarded someone who has used the hashtag on either Instagram or Twitter with a colourful prize every week – another moment of colour!
3 million reach
After just one event at Wembley in early June, the campaign generated over 200 Instagram photos shares and over 80 Tweets mentioning ‘#JustRefresh’ – reaching over 30,000 people.
The campaign reached a grand total of 2.9 million people across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
