Working with the Finsbury Food Group, we recently ran a targeted, 4-week YouTube advertising campaign to raise awareness of the Thorntons Cake Bites range, coinciding with retailer promotional activity in-store. The campaign focused on the core bites range; Caramel Shortcake Bites and Chocolate Fudge Brownie Bites.
Targeting our core Thorntons audience, our creative pulled out some of the key consumption occasions for the delicious Bites – coffee breaks at work, treats for movie nights, and lunch dates with friends. We carried out a small studio shoot to produce the creative.
The campaign performed fantastically, well-exceeding targets, reaching over 3M of Thorntons’ target audience. A staggering 65% of views of the ad were watched on a TV screen, meaning we achieved a big screen experience without the cost of a TV ad!
